Important information for guests at the Humboldt University Guesthouse (Ziegelstr. 13a, 10117 Berlin)
- Please note that check-in must occur before 6:00 pm as the guesthouse reception closes afterward. You can inquire about the opening hours on the morning of your arrival day, and late check-in may be possible. Rooms are available from 1:00 pm on the day of arrival until 10:00 am on the day of departure. You can leave your luggage at the Guesthouse until 5:00 pm on your departure day.
- Payment can be made in cash or by EC/credit card (AmEx, Master & Visa) on site. All guests must pay upon arrival, as the reception is closed on weekends. Please bring your own soap, shower gel/shampoo, and a hairdryer if needed. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
- WLAN is available in the reception area. Inside the rooms, WLAN is accessible via Eduroam or Free Wifi Berlin. Additionally, a public, unencrypted network or a LAN connection via cable is possible. To borrow a LAN cable, a deposit of 10 Euros in cash must be provided at reception (no change is given, so the exact amount is required). The deposit will be returned once the cable is returned. You are also welcome to bring your own cable and adapter if needed.
- There are no parking spaces available on the guest house grounds. Parking spaces are available in the surrounding area for a fee.
- The room prices are subject to and inclusive of VAT (currently 7%). Should there be an increase in the statutory VAT or the bed tax for the travel period, we reserve the right to make a price adjustment.
- Cancellation Policy: Guests can cancel free of charge if the cancellation is made at least 7 days before the day of arrival. If the cancellation is made after this deadline and we are unable to rebook the room, 75% of the room price will be charged.
